GENERAL GUIDELINES
There is a $10 entry fee due on the day of the competition. The fee goes to help feed the BJCP judges that will be judging your beer. We ask that you bring cash if available.
If you win, you will have your name enshrined onto our Holy Hop Trophy that is displayed at Hop Yard 62 and you will receive a $25 gift card to Hop Yard.

We usually have 3 to 4 BJCP judges.
Please bring only two sealed bottles. NO Growlers or Kegs!
ENTRANT ELIGIBILITY
In general, homebrew competitions are open to all home brewers who brew their entries on their home equipment. Beers brewed at commercial facilities on commercial equipment or brew-on-premise locations are not allowed. Professional brewers are excluded, even if they make the beer on homebrew systems.
NUMBER OF BOTTLES PER ENTRY
At minimum, two bottles will be needed for judging; one for the initial round where the entry is tasted and given scores and a second for the Best-of-Show (BOS) round, where the top beers from each category meet head-to-head and an overall winner is chosen (assuming there is a BOS for the competition). The judges will choose the three beers that best depict the particular style being judged, awarding first through third place.
BOTTLE SIZE
12 ounce bottles are preferred. Any lettering or graphics on the caps should be completely obscured with a black marker so as to maintain anonymity. Raised lettering on the bottles is not typically a problem, and the color of the bottle should not matter, as long as they do not obviously associate an entry with a specific brewer.

RUNNING/WALKING CLUB
Hop Yard 62 is a proud sponsor of the Grove City Running and Walking Club
Come join us on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m (weather permitting) to run/walk either a 3- or 4-mile loop. The Grove City Running and Walking Club meets weekly at Hop Yard 62 as well as several other locations in and around Grove City on other days of the week.
The Club accepts walkers and runners and has several pace groups, whether you are just a beginner OR an experienced runner.
Walkers and Runners will receive special discounts throughout the season!
