Musician
For Musician Bookings
A few items you need to know before requesting a Thursday, Friday or Saturday booking:

It is Hop Yard 62’s discretion to cancel any booking at any time for any reason.

If you have not performed at Hop Yard 62 before, we may ask that you only book one initial performance until after your first gig.

Please TALK with KEVIN before booking consecutive gigs month after month. We have a number of musicians that like to play at HY62 and we try to accommodate as many as possible.

We have a number of solo or duets that play acoustic, which works very well at Hop Yard 62, but we ask that you NOT only just play music from the 1960’s and 1970’s. Please play a variety of decades to include most of our guests.

We would like musicians to play from 7-10PM. Please come in early enough to set up before your start time. .

Our space is small. We can only accommodate a one- or two-person band.

Please bring your own PA.

We will need a write-up on the band, pictures, and a website or social media link so we can promote your gig on our own social media pages.

If you have to cancel less than 72 hours before you perform, please find a replacement for your gig.

Pay: $100 per gig and $25 bar tab.
Private Events
We’d love to host your event! Our space can accommodate up to 50 people inside and another 20 to 25 on the patio.
Whether you’re planning a birthday party, corporate mixer or holiday office party, Hop Yard 62 offers a special environment in historic Town Center, Grove City, OH. Our vintage inspired industrial space is a great alternative to more traditional rental spaces and is the perfect reflection of the old town feel of our downtown neighborhood.
The building itself was built before World War I and at one time stored old fire trucks for the volunteer fire department. It was also a Studebaker and Regal car sales room and eventually became Bethard’s Garage in 1932. The current owners removed the old floor to expose the original concrete. It’s a very cool space.
Hop Yard 62 can host events Monday through Sunday** Anytime. Prices will vary based on times being asked for: Except in rare instances, we are unable to host private events on Friday or Saturday evenings..
Amenities

Up to 8 draft lines of Columbus or Ohio brewed beer and an additional 13 taps from out of state (A total of 24 beers on tap!)

A selection of red and white wines

Tables and benches for 50 guests

An outdoor patio than can accommodate an additional 25 guests
What you can bring

Your own food – you can bring your own food or have something catered in. Don’t forget your utensils and napkins as we do not provide these items.

Decorations – You may bring decorations for your area. Balloons must be secured to avoid floating up to the ceiling. No glitter/confetti is allowed.
What you can’t bring

BEVERAGES – You should not bring beverages to Hop Yard 62. We sell beer, wine, sodas, and water here.
Food Trucks
For Food Truck Bookings
We would like Food Trucks to be available from 5-8 pm. Please give yourself at least 30 minutes before your start time to set up.
You will park on the sidewalk just beside our location, near the gazebo and between two city light posts. You will have approximately 28 feet with which to work. Please see the PARKING DETAILS FOR TRUCK PLACEMENT diagrams detailing where your truck will be placed. Be aware as you go up on the curb if you have any generators or other items that hang low on the truck. We have an alternative location if that is the case.
The City of Grove City requires a $20 fee to be paid.
We would recommend that you have printed copies of your menu to bring into the bar for our customers to read.
If we accept your booking request, you will receive a confirmation email from customerservice@hopyard62.com with your confirmed date.
Now that you have read through our guidelines, submit a Gig Request to us through facebook messenger, or emailing us at customerservice@hopyard62.com.
Things to note on the calendar that will appear:

We schedule musicians and food trucks only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So, if you see a food truck scheduled already please don’t ask for that date. If you are a musician and don’t see an artist listed ask away.

We only schedule one music event and food truck per evening.

If a date is already marked red (booked) on the calendar, someone has beat you to that date. Don’t select that date! If the booked party cancels on us, we will remove the booking and it will again show as available.

If a date is marked yellow (pending), you may still submit your request for that date, but be aware that you already have competition, and we typically schedule on a first come, first serve basis.

Musicians play from 7 pm to 10pm at this time. Food trucks serve from 5 pm to 8 pm.
